FormIQ Privacy Policy

FormIQ ("the app") is a fitness guidance app developed by YavuzTech that detects exercise form and counts repetitions using your device camera. This policy explains what data the app processes and how we protect your privacy.

Camera and Pose Detection

Camera frames are analyzed entirely on your device to detect body pose, count repetitions, and provide form feedback. Camera frames, pose landmarks, and joint angles are never uploaded or shared with third parties.

Personal and Nutrition Data

We collect and securely store profile information to personalize your experience:

• Physical Attributes: Age, height, and weight are used for biomechanical analysis and nutrition goal calculations.
• Nutrition Tracking: Daily meal logs and calorie goals are stored to help you track your fitness progress.
• Security: Sensitive physical data is stored securely on Google Firestore. We are moving towards field-level encryption for these attributes to ensure they are only readable by authorized services.

Account Security and Identifiers

To provide account recovery without a traditional password-based system and to manage our referral program, we process certain identifiers:

• Device Identifier: Android ID is used to link your profile to your device, ensuring you don't lose progress if you reinstall the app.
• Notification Token: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens are stored to send you achievement alerts and workout reminders.
• Referral Codes: Unique codes linked to your account are used to manage the "Invite & Earn" program.

Analytics

FormIQ uses Firebase Analytics to record anonymous, aggregate usage events to improve the app. This include screen views, workout statistics, and form-feedback frequency. Analytics data is never linked to your identity and is processed as described in Google's Firebase documentation.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is kept as long as your account is active. You have the right to permanently delete all your profile data, workout history, and nutrition logs at any time directly through the "Edit Profile" screen in the app settings.

Subscription and Payments

All subscription transactions are handled by the Google Play Store. We do not see or store your payment information (e.g., credit cards).
